Tuition is focussed on education in all spheres of horsemanship.

Students are required to develop independence and pursue reading, watching, riding, practicing and learning.

No ground levy is applicable when boxing horses to Xenophon Equus Cente for tuition.

No tuition is offered to children under the age of 10.

OWN HORSE
INDIVIDUAL LESSON (1 HOUR)
These sessions are preferable for riders who are in need of enough time to get all crucial information on what they are working on at the time;
to learn about a new concept and to have a full assessment of ground work skills as well as ridden skills.
Private tuition gives riders the opportunity to hone their skills and iron out issues, to performing exercises correctly with increased quality. There are very few of these slots available and they are aimed at DEDICATED individuals wanting to take their equestrian skills to the next level
Fee: R400
OWN HORSE
SHARED SESSIONS (1 HOUR)
(never more than six students per session)
Individuals are assessed and accommodated according to level of knowledge, skill and age. This provides students with the opportunity to learn from each other, share with each other and support each other. (To create study buddies)
Fee: R250 p/p
SHARED SESSIONS (HALF HOUR)
Fee: R200 p/p
XENOPHON EQUUS CENTRE HORSES
INDIVIDUAL LESSON (1 HOUR)
This is offered to students who own their own horse/s, but need the experience of feel that their horses might not currently be giving them. The best way to learn is to experience it/feel it, and then it will be easier to recognise and reproduce in their own horses.
These sessions are preferable for riders who are in need of enough time to get all crucial information on what they are working on at the time;
- to learn about a new concept
- to acquire a new feel
Private tuition gives riders the opportunity to hone their skills, iron out issues to performing exercises correctly with the emphasis on quality.
There are very few of these slots available and they are aimed at DEDICATED individuals wanting to take their equestrian skills to the next level.

INDIVIDUAL LESSONS (HALF HOUR)
These sessions are ideal once you are assessed and on a homework schedule and you need a quick check to make sure you are still on track.
Fee: R280
THEORY 'CHATS' AFTER/BEFORE LESSONS
THEORY (HALF HOUR)
I offer these to the rider who prefers to discuss how the lesson progressed, over a cup of coffee while your horse is cooled down and given the opportunity to also relax, to chat about any 'homework' suggestions and additional insight into why I do what I do, for the benefit of the horse.
Fee: R150 per half hour
TRAINING / SCHOOLING SESSIONS
These sessions are geared towards me working one on one with your horse - no rider involved.
The indoor arena is equipped with comfortable seating, should the rider/owner wish to spectate.

VIDEO TAPING OF LESSON

Fee: R120 per half hour of your schooling session/lesson
ASSESSMENT FEE
When I'm asked to travel to your horse to assess and suggest a possible training programme.
Fee: R400 per 1 HOUR
Travel fee charged @ R3.50 p/km for travel outside Helderberg surrounds.
