Hugo Boss was bred by Paarden Dutch Warmblood Stud, situated on the Breede River in the historic Robertson district of the Western Cape.

BREEDING:
Hugo Boss is by the preferred Dutch Warmblood stallion RHODIUM KWPN, with FERRO – G RAMIRO Z- VOLTAIRE bloodlines. He is out of the Thoroughbred mare MONEO.
Hugo Boss is a striking dark bay gelding, with socks on both hind legs and the near fore. He has a nice big 'almost diamond' shaped star.
He has good solid bone and at 3 years of age, is already a strongly built youngster. He has free flowing movement, with a quality of presence and panache.
Hugo Boss started light groundwork, learning manners and respecting human space. He is a confident youngster who initially arrived 'pushing the boundaries'. He throughly enjoys having his face sponged down and this has become a real treat for him. Light groundwork will continue to allow for natural maturity.
Hugo is confident, with a sensible mind. He enjoys his paddock friends, socialises well and displays a streak of mischievousness :)
He is not a 'flighty' horse and rather prefers to stand his ground. We are excited to start increasing his training and will keep you updated with his progress.
