These 3 programs help equestrian enthusiasts and their horses to maximize their ability to do what they love, longer and better.
How living beings interact with the elements around them is important, because incorrect movement destroys the natural synergy. These programs focus on improving and optimizing movement patterns.
Evaluation of Riders off the horse
27 January - R750pp
A look at the movement of the rider’s body off the horse is vital to ensure that movement and alignment is correct and efficient. Only then can a program be applied to enhance the movement and improve the alignment on the horse. By increasing rider fitness, strength and balance, the horse will be able focus its strength and free up its posture, rather than trying to correct any issues that are being passed down to it through the saddle from the rider.
Once the body is moving correctly the rider can be evaluated for muscle and skeletal weakness or injury and a relevant training program can be provided that will address any issues that the rider my have. The training program along with enthusiasm and healthy dose of commitment from the rider aims to have the rider performing better than ever before.
Evaluation of the Horse
27 January - R750
Horses are asymmetrical. Just like humans, they are left- or right handed, both in the front legs and the hind legs. Also, the horse is bent to the left or right in its body and it carries more weight on the front legs than on the hind legs. This causes an uneven distribution of the weight over the four legs. Old injuries can compound the problem. When the rider does not realize this and correct these imbalances, it can lead to a host of problems.
Evaluation of Rider&Horse partnership
28 January - R750pp
Identification of weaknesses and imbalances of the rider and of the horse with the rider in the saddle. What happens when the two come together is that our weaknesses affect each other in unique ways.
